When I was in Palm Beach for the holiday weekend, I discovered a resteraunt that NEEDS to migrate north: Seasons 52. Based on the trendy foodie concept dominating NYC eateries recently, everything at Seasons is made with seasonal food and each dish is under 475 calories. Love at first sight.

And if my low-cal Salmon/Potato/Asparagus combo wasn’t enough, the waiter brought out a tray of pastry filled shot glasses at the end. Each shot glass contained a mini version of my favorite desserts (chocolate/pb mousse, key lime pie, red velvet cupcake). The perfect end to any meal without stuffing yourself! Per the waiter’s reco, I chose the chocolate/pb mousse but jealously eyed my grandpa’s rocky mountain across the table. So where can I find these genuis dessert shooters in NYC?!

After hours of research, it appears as if these mini trifles (petite versions of the layered pound cake treat) are only readily available at the tourist-laden Applebees. I used to shamelessly visit the chain restaurant when in Cincinnati for school, but I refuse to give the Times Square mob scene business. So where do I find these in my city? Stay tuned!
