The Lion appeases growling tummies
Somehow, we got reservations to the new and uber trendy The Lion for my bff Kelly’s birthday. From the same genius behind Waverly Inn, this n is already impossible to get in to. When we got there, there was a bouncer standing on the street to ensure you had a reservation. If you aren’t on the list, you can’t even walk in the restaurant!

The interior resembled a home of a New England art collector. We spent a good 15 minutes in awe of the slightly crooked art from the likes of Warhol and Basquiat adorns the walls. That was, until we spotted Kevin Spacey sitting next to us.
And the food? I HIGHLY recomend the asparagus fritters. Fried things are my guilty pleasure, but I feel a little bit better when they are fried vegetables. For dinner, I had the Diver Scallops. I order scallops whenever I can because the Gulf crisis, and these were some of the best scallops I have ever had. NOTE- because of the chef’s love for all things hearty, many of the dishes include meat. Let the waitor know if you are a veggie!
